Project Burkina Faso

The foundation has been active in Burkina Faso since 2006. There about 50 albinos are provided with sun block.

Distribution and instruction
Shipping of sun block takes place through the local contact person Hervé Millet from the Association for Small African Projects (ASAP, www.asap-foundation.com)

Depending on the ASAP journeys about three to four shipments per year take place. Shipping is by air so the albinos in Burkina Faso can get their supply soon after arrival. Hervé Millet organises meetings together with ASAP worker. Dé Millogo, where instruction can be given and sun block handed out. According to Hervé the sun block was an immediate success: ‘All the albinos that used the cream were really pleased with it. After two weeks everyone could see what a difference it had made to their skin.'
