Albinos in Africa suffer daily from sun burn as they do not have the knowledge or means to protect their vulnerable skin from the tropical sun.  That is why skin cancers are a regular problem for the albinos in Africa. For a number of years the Stichting Afrikaanse Albino´s has been working hard to send supplies of sun block to Africa. These are then distributed by local contacts to those affected by albinism.

Your help is needed for us to continue to support people in Africa suffering from albinism so that they can protect their skin every day. If an albino in Africa can use sun block from an early age every day the number of fatalities from skin cancers will be greatly decreased.  The foundation needs to ensure that supplies are repeatedly replenished as sun block is not readily available in Africa. We are hoping for your support so that the foundation can continue to provide this help for the albinos in Africa, now and in the years to come.
